Your account

You must be at least 18 to use DatePic. You're responsible for what you post from your account.

Your content

You own what you create. By sharing a post to the feed you grant DatePic a license to display it within the app. Diary entries you don't share stay private to your account.

Acceptable use

Don't post content that is unlawful, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that invades someone's privacy, including sharing photos of your date partner without their consent. Candid photos of another person require their okay before sharing to the feed; that's the product's whole ethos.

Moderation

You can report any post, comment, photo, profile, or assistant reply, and block any user. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on DatePic. We review every report. We remove violating content and eject the users who posted it.

The concierge, and messages about self-harm

DatePic runs a crisis protocol on the concierge, and this is it, in full. Before any message you send the concierge or type into the plan brief is sent anywhere, DatePic checks it on this iPhone against a fixed list of phrases about suicide and self-harm. On a match the message is not sent, not to Google Gemini, not to the on-device model, not to any cache, any log or any analytics event, and the concierge replies in place with crisis resources: 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline in the US, the text line at 741741, findahelpline.com outside the US, and local emergency services when someone is in immediate danger. The composer stays open. Separately, the model provider's own safety filter blocks dangerous content, and a reply it blocks is refused rather than shown.

Two honest limits. A fixed list of phrases catches the phrasings on it and not every way a person can say a thing, so this is a mechanism and not a promise. And DatePic is not a crisis service, not a counselor and not a therapist. The concierge plans dates, and it is told in writing never to offer counseling, therapy, or advice about anyone's relationship.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

No warranty

DatePic is provided as-is during beta. We work hard to keep your memories safe, but you should keep copies of photos you can't lose.
